Classify the input before processing it
Use four input classes for a bounded knowledge job:
- approved source material;
- the task definition;
- format requirements;
- explicit exclusions and unresolved questions.
The synthetic job accepts the workshop note and task packet. It includes independent consultants, the two-hour offer, and the confirmed-detail constraint. It excludes outside research and any schedule or price claim.
Selection remains visible. The task record names which source entered the brief and which questions stayed unresolved.
Require more than the final prose
The output is a connected artifact set, not one detached answer. For this workshop brief, the set includes:
- the first content brief with its Saturday sentence;
- the independent finding;
- the corrected final brief;
- the schedule and price unknowns;
- the checkpoint export.
The first brief shows what review changed. The unresolved list prevents missing facts from becoming invented certainty. The export keeps inputs and outputs together for later inspection.
Use the boundary to control retries
When review removes the unsupported Saturday sentence, correction changes that claim without replacing the audience, offer, or constraint.
If the process stops after review, the next attempt resumes from the recorded finding. It does not need to guess which brief came first or which source was approved.
This fabricated sequence demonstrates clear input and output roles. It does not validate the subject matter or promise results with other tasks.
Recognize the wrong fit
This structure fits recurring work where provenance, correction, or resumption matters. A casual brainstorming exchange may not need a full artifact set if nothing will be reused or acted upon.
